5 missing and 5 rescued due to waterfall surge in southern Taiwan
Taipei, May 21 (CNA) Five people in a river-tracing group have been missing since Saturday after being swept away by a surging waterfall caused by heavy rain in southern Taiwan’s Pingtung County, but five others in the same group were rescued Sunday morning, according to local authorities.
