Damage caused by Typhoon Khanun estimated at NT$154.72 million
Taipei, Aug. 8 (CNA) Early estimates of damage caused by Typhoon Khanun to the agricultural sector and related facilities have reached NT$154.72 million (US$4.89 million), with Nantou County, which bore the brunt of the storm, accounting for NT$131.96 million in losses, according to statistics compiled by the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) on Tuesday.
