DGBAS cuts Taiwan’s GDP growth forecast for 2023 to below 2%
Taipei, Aug. 18 (CNA) With the fragile global economy pushing down demand from end-users, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) announced Friday that it has trimmed its forecast for Taiwan’s export-oriented gross domestic product (GDP) growth to below 2 percent, the lowest in eight years.
