Furloughed workers top 12,000 as manufacturing sector stalls
Taipei, Aug. 24 (CNA) The number of workers on Taiwan’s formal unpaid leave program has surpassed 12,000, including more than 10,000 from the manufacturing sector, the Ministry of Labor said Thursday.
