Taiwan shares end slightly up, off early high, led by semiconductor stocks
Taipei, Aug. 28 (CNA) Shares in Taiwan closed slightly higher Monday as large-cap semiconductor stocks played catch up and lent support to the broader market, while earlier gains were eroded amid lingering concerns over inflationary pressure worldwide, dealers said.
