Russia wants to put prisoners on special military register

The Russian Defence Ministry has prepared a draft resolution proposing registering conscripts and those liable for military service serving sentences in penitentiaries .

Details: In particular, the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation proposes to exclude from the regulation on military registration the subparagraph that exempts citizens serving sentences in the form of imprisonment from military registration.
