ECB Might Raise Rates Further Beyond This Week

The ECB will likely opt for a 25 bps interest-rate increase at Thursday’s meeting, possibly also leaving its options open for further tightening until it sees convincing evidence that inflation will return to its 2% target, Columbia Threadneedle Investments said.
