Telecoms companies to test emergency cellphone alert system Wednesday
Taipei, Sept. 12 (CNA) Smartphone users in Taiwan should not panic when they receive an emergency alert message at 4 p.m. on Wednesday as it is part of a joint cell broadcast test, according to the country’s five major telecommunication operators.
