Almost 500 Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine on last day of September

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have killed 440 more Russian troops and destroyed 11 tanks and 30 artillery systems over the past 24 hours.

Details: The total combat losses of Russian troops between 24 February 2022 and 1 October 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:
