Details: A video showing mobilised people being beaten in the Ternopil military enlistment office has been posted on social media. There is currently no confirmation or denial of this information.

However, the mayor of Ternopil immediately addressed the management of the Ternopil military enlistment office as he had information that their employees “could use force against mobilised people”.

Quote from Nadal: “There is information that your ‘individual’ employees could have used force against our mobilised people. I insist and emphasise that ‘individual’ employees of the military enlistment office should treat the mobilised residents of Ternopil in a correct manner.

I appeal to the citizens of Ternopil: if you know of any cases of improper or cruel treatment during mobilisation, please immediately report them to the military prosecutor’s office and the police.

During the war, every man has to come to the military enlistment office and update his data. However, this requires a correct, proper attitude, in accordance with the requirements of the law!”

Background: Yesterday, on 7 October, a video appeared showing military enlistment office workers in Ternopil forcing men into a minibus, and an internal investigation was ordered at the regional military enlistment office.
