The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) conducted a series of attacks on Hezbollah infrastructure on the night of 19-20 October, including observation posts.

Details: The IDF conducted the attacks in response to Hezbollah firing anti-tank missiles at them across the border during the day.
In addition, Israeli fighter jets hit three Hezbollah fighters who tried to launch anti-tank missiles toward Israel.
Background:
- The Lebanese movement Hezbollah claimed that it was “fully prepared” to join Hamas in a war against Israel when the time comes.
- On 16 October, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said it launched a retaliatory attack against Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in Lebanon.
- On the night of 18-19 October, the IDF launched attacks against Hezbollah’s facilities in Lebanon.
