Manufacturing activity contracts for 8th straight month in October
Taipei, Nov. 1 (CNA) Manufacturing activity in Taiwan remained in contraction mode for the eighth consecutive month in October as an index gauging the sector’s fundamentals dropped slightly from a month earlier, the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER) said Wednesday.
