France to allocate €200 million to support Ukrainian army

The French government intends to allocate an additional €200 million to the fund for supporting Ukraine so that the Ukrainian army can continue purchasing French equipment.

Details: Lecornu said that the extension is part of the financial bill scheduled for Wednesday’s consideration, which includes adjustments to the current fiscal year’s appropriations.
“It will also allow us to launch a new strategy to acquire new equipment for the Ukrainian army,” Lecornu said, saying the war in Ukraine is “a conflict that we should not turn away from”.
