Ukraine brings back bodies of 94 fallen defenders

On 20 November, Ukraine managed to bring back the bodies of 94 fallen Ukrainian defenders to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Quote: “Today [20 November – ed.], the Ukrainian side managed to bring back the bodies (remains) of 94 deceased Ukrainian defenders to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.”
Details: The bodies of combatants killed in connection with armed aggression against Ukraine were handed over to the opposite side following the norms of international humanitarian law.
Reportedly, the Armed Forces will ensure the transportation of repatriated bodies and remains to designated specialised institutions for delivery to representatives of law enforcement agencies and forensic medical experts for identification of the deceased.
Background: Thanks to certain measures taken on 27 October, Ukraine managed to bring back the bodies of 50 fallen warriors.
