Ukraine to recognise education received in temporarily occupied territories

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (the country’s parliament) has adopted the law about recognising the diplomas of Ukrainians who reside in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Details: The bill No.9591 was supported at the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by 264 Members of the Parliament, with 226 necessary to pass.
The document envisages that in order to have their diplomas validated, the citizens from the temporarily occupied territories will have to pass a test.
Earlier, there were reports that a Verkhovna Rada committee recommends preserving distance and evening learning, which the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine wants to cancel.
