Details: Almost all the Ukrainian players in Europe played in matches on Saturday. On Sunday, the focus was on the Premier League, where Mykhailo Mudryk’s Chelsea FC faced Brighton, which is managed by Roberto De Zerbi, former coach of Ukraine’s Shakhtar FC. The start of the game was intense: Enzo Fernández and Levi Colwill made it 2-0 for Chelsea by the 21st minute.

The end of the first half was also action-packed. First, Facundo Buonanotte narrowed the gap, and Conor Gallagher received a second yellow card before half-time, leaving Chelsea one player down. In the second half, Mudryk helped the London club increase their lead by earning a penalty. Enzo duly scored. Brighton scored one goal before the final whistle, but it was not enough for a draw.

Goals: Enzo Fernández, 17, 65, (pen.), Colwill, 21 – Buonanotte, 43, João Pedro, 90+2

Sent off: Gallagher, 45 (Chelsea)

In another game that evening, Bournemouth, with Illya Zabarnyi in the line-up, failed to secure a victory over Aston Villa. The teams exchanged goals by Antoine Semenyo and Leon Bailey in the first half, and Dominic Solanke put Bournemouth ahead after half-time. The Cherries had a great opportunity to defeat Villa, currently in the top half of the league, but Ollie Watkins scored a header, right under Zabarnyi’s nose, in the 90th minute.

Goals: Semenyo, 10, Solanke, 52 – Bailey, 20, Watkins, 90.
