Children taught to shoot at targets with Zelenskyy’s portrait at festival in Tomsk, Russia

Portraits of Ukrainian and US presidents Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Joe Biden, as well as NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, were hung as targets for shooting at a festival for children in the Russian city of Tomsk.

Details: The Tomsk technical school where the event took place stated that it was organised by the Tomsk regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organisation of Veterans of War, Labour, the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement. At its request, the venue was provided to the educational institution.
The aim of the festival Peaceful Warrior of the Russian Federation was reportedly “to instil the concept of patriotism, love for the motherland, respect for the wishes of our ancestors, preservation of history and Russian traditions in the younger generation”.
