Russians target mine in Donetsk Oblast, one worker wounded

The Russian forces launched a missile strike on one of the mines of the Toretskvuhillia state enterprise (Toretsk, Donetsk Oblast) on the evening of 7 December, injuring a 32-year-old worker of the mine.

Quote: “A 32-year-old worker was injured, and he was taken to hospital. There is significant damage to the equipment. The work of the mine has been shut down.”
Details: Six people were in the mine at the time of the attack. They have already been brought to the surface.
The mine has been left without power, and an assessment is ongoing to clarify the amount of damage.
Background:
- On 7 December, Ukraine’s Energy Ministry reported that two units of a thermal power plant in the frontline zone had shut down due to a Russian attack.
