Taiwan shares end up as IC stocks gain after AMD new AI chip release
Taipei, Dec. 8 (CNA) Shares in Taiwan staged a rebound Friday with buying in large-cap semiconductor stocks sparked by news that U.S.-based chip designer Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) unveiled new artificial intelligence chips overnight, dealers said.
