The restrictions target a few Russian military and private military companies involved in the aggression against Ukraine, specifically the co-founder of Private Military Company Redut, Anatoly Karaziy.

The sanctions against the Russian Alabuga special economic zone and legal persons connected to it were mentioned separately – as it is known, Russia wants to extend the production of Iran-made Shahed drones there. The propagandistic TV-channels Spas and Tsargrad were also sanctioned.

In total, over 60 individuals and more than 80 legal entities were added to the sanctions list.
