Russians kill child in front of his family in occupied part of Kherson Oblast

The Russian occupying forces have killed a child in front of his family in one of the hromadas in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast, as confirmed by Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Oblast State Administration. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Quote: “It’s a dreadful situation there… A Year 9 student [14 years old – ed.] was killed in one of the settlements. Right in front of his family”.
Details: Prokudin specified that the incident took place on 20 December, when the teenage boy was out walking and supposedly taking pictures of something, then was grabbed, brought home and shot dead.
The official noted that the Ukrainian authorities will approach all relevant authorities to record this crime.
Prokudin added that the Russians are continuing to force the population in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast to obtain Russian passports. Teachers are being forced to work according to Russian curricula, with children being exposed to Russian propaganda.
