Internet celebrity Yang Hui-ju indicted for invoice fraud
Taipei, May 2 (CNA) Internet celebrity Yang Hui-ju (楊蕙如) was indicted on charges of fraud and forgery Tuesday after allegedly embezzling NT$9.77 million (US$317,180) in public funds by inflating the cost of hosting the WTA Taiwan Open, a professional women’s tennis tournament, in 2017 and 2018.
