The border areas and settlements of Sumy Oblast were attacked 17 times by the Russian military on 26 December.

Details: 140 explosions were recorded. Bilopilska, Krasnopilska, Khotynska, Velykopysarivska hromadas were attacked [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.].
Quote: “Bilopillia hromada: there were attacks from AGS (29 explosions), artillery (4 explosions), MLRS (5 explosions) and mortars (4 explosions) from the territory of the Russian Federation.
Krasnopillia hromada: there were bombardments from ATGM (anti-tank guided missile) (1 rocket) and mortars (8 explosions).
Khotyn hromada: the enemy fired using mortars (8 explosions).
Velykopysarivka hromada: attacks from AGS (52 explosions), artillery (7 explosions) and mortars (22 explosions) were recorded.”
