Background:
- An air-raid warning was issued in Kyiv and throughout Ukraine because of a Russian missile attack on the morning of 29 December. Air defence systems are responding in the capital.
- Missile pieces fell in two districts in Kyiv; a residential high-rise building caught fire, and people were injured.
