Death toll from missile attack on Zaporizhzhia rises to 7

At least seven people have been killed, and 13 others have been injured in a morning missile attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia on 29 December.

Quote from Malashko: “As of 15:15, we have received information that the number of killed people has increased to seven. We know about 13 injured people. The work at the sites where enemy missiles hit continues.”
Details: During a massive attack on Ukraine on 29 December, Russians fired at Zaporizhzhia with Kh-22, Kh-32, Kh-101 and Zircon missiles.
Civilian infrastructure was damaged.
More than 120 reports of damaged property were received.
Later, six people were reported dead as a result of a morning missile strike in Zaporizhzhia.
Background:
- On the morning of 29 December, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine: explosions rocked Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv and a range of other oblasts.
- The Ukrainian Air Force said that Russia launched a large-scale attack using all assets at its disposal. The air defence managed to down 114 out of 158 Russian air targets.
- As of 16:00, 26 Ukrainians were killed and more than 120 people were injured in the large-scale bombardment on the morning of 29 December, the Office of the President reports.
