Ukraine’s Defence Forces killed 800 more soldiers and destroyed 36 Russian artillery systems and 22 armoured vehicles during the past day.

Details: The total combat losses of Russian troops between 24 February 2022 and 7 January 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

- 6,811 (+24) tactical UAVs;
- 1,786 (+0) cruise missiles;
- 23 (+0) ships and boats;
- 1 (+0) submarines;
- 11,523 (+45) vehicles and tankers;
