German chancellor discusses support for Ukraine with US senators

Olaf Scholz, the Chancellor of Germany, held a meeting with senators during his visit to the United States.

Before he visited the United States, the Chancellor of Germany published a column in The Wall Street Journal, cautioning against Russia’s victory in Ukraine and calling for continued support for Kyiv.
Scholz travelled to Washington on 8 February and is set to hold talks with President Joe Biden on 9 February.
