Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence on shooting in Moscow Oblast: Provocation of Putin’s special services

Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) has stated that the recent terrorist attack in Moscow Oblast is a conscious provocation of Putin’s regime the international community has anticipated.

Background: A shooting incident occurred at a Piknik band concert in the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast, on the evening of 22 March. The Russian authorities report that an unknown number of people were killed and injured. Concert tickets were sold out, up to 2,000 people may have been in the hall. An explosion resulted in a fire, and the roofing is being destroyed.
On 8 March, the US Embassy in Russia and the UK Foreign Affairs Ministry warned about possible terrorist attacks in Moscow.
