Arad Benkö, Austrian Ambassador to Ukraine, said that Russian forces committed war crimes in Bucha and in many other cities in Ukraine. “Austria’s position is crystal clear: the perpetrators have to be held accountable. There should be no impunity, including for the crimes of aggression,” Benkö said.
Two years ago Bucha was liberated after 33 days of Russian occupation. Here and in many places Russian forces committed war crimes.

The UK Foreign Office also published posts dedicated to the second anniversary of the liberation of the outskirts of Kyiv, noting that the liberation of Bucha led to the first discovery of heinous crimes that the Russian occupiers committed against civilians.
“Today we, together with Ukraine, honour the memory of this tragedy,” the Foreign Office stated.
