Taiwan shares end down; TSMC falls below NT$500 mark
Taipei, May 11 (CNA) Shares in Taiwan closed lower after initial gains Thursday, with contract chipmaker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) falling below the NT$500.00 mark (US$16.29) amid worries over ongoing inventory adjustments in the global tech industry, dealers said.
