Previously: Information about the Russian Tsiklon ship, the carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, having been struck started circulating online this week.

Captain 3rd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, the head of the Centre for Strategic Communications of the Defence Forces of the South of Ukraine, said that if the information that the Russian Tskilon missile carrier has been struck in Crimea is correct, Russian forces will no longer be able to launch Kalibr missiles from a short range.

The ship’s technical specifications are as follows: displacement of 800 tonnes, length of 65 metres, width of 10 metres, draft of 4 metres. The ship’s maximum speed is 30 knots. Its range is 2,500 miles (at a speed of 12 knots). It can function autonomously for up to 15 days.

Tsiklon was armed with the Oniks and Kalibr-NK vertical missile launchers, an upgraded 76.2 mm AK-176MA gun, and the Palash anti-aircraft gun.
