Background:

In February 2023, Ukrainska Pravdaʼs journalists found out that in 2022, Andrii Smyrnov’s brother Ihor purchased property, including an apartment and a plot of land in the Carpathians, at a price significantly lower than the market total of US$0.25 million dollars.
It was reported that the brothers could not answer unambiguously where the money for this purchase came from and why the prices were lowered.
On 29 March, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Andrii Smyrnov from the position of deputy head of the Office of the President.
