Ukrainian drones attack Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, causing fire in Yeysk – video

Russian local news channels have reported a large-scale drone attack on Krasnodar Krai on the night of 20-21 June. A fire is seen near the airfield in Yeysk, from which the Russians frequently launch strikes on Ukraine.

Details: Residents of the Russian city of Yeysk wrote on social media about explosions in the sky and posted footage showing flashes in the sky. A large-scale fire broke out after the UAV attack.

Local residents also reported that Russian air defence was responding.

In addition, it is reported that more than ten explosions occurred in the area of the village of Afipsky (Krasnodar Krai) and the village of Yablonovsky (the Republic of Adygea). Russian military-themed Telegram channels reported the downing of more than 20 drones. 

The Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters officially reported that several districts in Krasnodar Krai had come under a large-scale attack, namely the districts of Temryuk, Yeysk and Severskaya. 

Russian authorities said that the drone attack in Yeysk district had been repelled. 

Quote: “There were no civilian casualties and no damage to civilian infrastructure. Operational relevant services are working on the scene. The information is being confirmed.”

Update: Later, the Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters reported that the UAV had crashed on the territory of the Ilsky oil refinery in Kuban. According to early reports, two people were injured.
