Taiwan Strait peace ‘indispensable’ to global security: U.K.-Japan pact
London, May 18 (CNA) The United Kingdom and Japan agreed to an enhanced global strategic partnership Thursday in which they characterized peace across the Taiwan Strait as “indispensable” to a safe and prosperous world and urged China to act responsibly on the world stage.
