Russia attacks railway in Kharkiv Oblast overnight, injuring 4 employees of Ukrainian Railways

Russians attacked Ukrzaliznytsia’s (Ukrainian Railways) infrastructure, injuring four of the company’s employees overnight on 20 July. In particular, the railway contact network at the exit from Kharkiv was damaged, causing some trains to be delayed.

Details: The Kyiv-Kharkiv trains No. 63 and No. 719 were waiting for the aftermath to be remedied, and the traffic resumed at night.
In addition, the InterCity train to Kramatorsk and back is delayed. Ukrzaliznytsia noted that some passengers would wait for trains, while backup minibuses would take others.
As of the morning of 20 July, Ukrzaliznytsia noted that trains to Kramatorsk were still awaiting permission to continue their route and, therefore, would arrive with a significant delay. The same applies to the return train from Kramatorsk, which will depart later.
