Details: Sikorski travelled to Ukraine immediately after meeting US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Warsaw, who stopped there on his way from Kyiv.

The Polish Foreign Ministry said that Sikorski met with Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi and laid flowers at the memorial plaque to seven Lviv residents killed in the massive Russian attack on 4 September.

Quote: “This is another war crime. And this is not the only building with such a fate in Lviv. There were many more such targets than the world public opinion realises,” commented Sikorski.

He urged the leaders of Western countries to speed up the flow of military aid to Ukraine and recalled Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s promise to finance the reconstruction of damaged buildings in Lviv.

In an interview with France’s Le Monde, Sikorski called for the lifting of long-range weapons restrictions from Ukraine and stressed that its resilience is not infinite.
