Russian nighttime attack on Zaporizhzhia: nine injured and houses damaged – photos

Russian forces attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia with six aerial bombs on the late evening of 22 September. This attack has left nine people injured, including a child.

Fires broke out. Rescue workers and firefighters are working at the scenes.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported that the Russians had carried out six strikes, according to early reports, with guided aerial bombs.
As a result of the strikes, parked cars caught fire and residential buildings were damaged.
Police officers, bomb disposal experts, police paramedics, rescue workers and other relevant services of the city are working at the scenes of the strikes.
At 00:57, Fedorov wrote that the number of those who sustained injuries had increased to six, and they were being provided with medical assistance.
All the emergency services are working together to deal with the consequences of the attack and help the civilians who were injured.
Tents have been set up at two locations where people can seek support.

At 01:59, the State Emergency Service reported that the number of people who were injured had increased to nine, including one child.
Rescue workers evacuated residents of the damaged apartment blocks. One woman was unblocked from her own apartment.
Firefighters extinguished a fire in a car and the balcony of one of the apartments, which covered a total area of 10 square metres. Emergency work was carried out to remove the destroyed structures at the apartments’ entrances.
In total, 47 rescue workers and 10 units of equipment were engaged by the State Emergency Service.
Police officers, bomb disposal experts, volunteers of the Rapid Response Unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society and other emergency services of the city were also working at the scene.
