Zelenskyy tells members of US Congress about his Victory Plan

On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with a bipartisan delegation of the US Congress and told them about his Victory Plan.

Details: The President’s Office noted that the meeting was attended by members of the US Senate Ben Cardin, Dan Sullivan, Christopher Murphy and Gregory Meeks, a member of the House of Representatives.
The statement said that the meeting participants paid special attention to the Victory Plan that Volodymyr Zelenskyy will present to US President Joe Biden, the US Congress and both presidential candidates this week.
Quote from Zelenskyy: “This is a very specific plan on how to strengthen Ukraine without any decisions or pressure from Russia. This plan does not depend on any decisions made by Putin.”
Details: In addition, Zelenskyy spoke in detail about the situation at the front, the progress of the operation in Kursk Oblast, the needs of Ukrainian soldiers and the importance of timely delivery of defence packages.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the prospects for implementing reconstruction projects. Ahead of winter, one of the key areas is to strengthen the Ukrainian energy system. In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed the importance of strengthening sanctions against Russia.
