Ukrainian air defence downs about 15 Russian attack drones near Kyiv overnight

Kyiv City Military Administration has reported that about 15 Russian Shahed attack drones targeted the city of Kyiv on the night of 27-28 September. Air defence responded to all of the drones, but the debris fell in the Obolonskyi district of the city.

Quote from Popko: “It was the tenth air attack on Kyiv since the start of September! Just like in almost all the other attacks, Russian forces used attack drones again.
Early reports indicate that the UAVs were the same Shahed type. They were launched from the north and north-east. The loitering munitions started approaching Kyiv in several waves.”
Details: The air-raid warning in the capital was in place for about three hours.
Kyiv City Military Administration stressed that Ukrainian air defence shot down about 15 Russian attack drones that were targeting Kyiv. Air defence responded to the drones on the outskirts of Kyiv and in the city directly.

As a result, a non-residential building was damaged. There has been no information about the casualties.”
