The award aims to honour journalists worldwide with prestigious awards in four media categories: press, radio, television, and photography.
Since its inception, it has been awarded to representatives of the world’s leading media: Associated Press, Reuters, BBC, CNN, Le Monde and others. This year’s winners were mostly correspondents with photographs from Gaza.
