Ha Tsuen Jiao Festival

Once every 10 years, the historic Ha Tsuen area of Yuen Long holds a Jiao Festival to thank the deities for their blessings during the preceding decade and to look forward to peace and prosperity.

Falling between the 11th and 12th lunar month, this year’s festivities culminated on Saturday night with the burning of giant paper effigies, symbolising a fresh start for the next 10 years.
