Details: Dmytro Lubinets said that as of now, working together with the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War and other bodies, they have managed to bring 3,767 Ukrainians back from Russian captivity. He added that he had personally spoken with some of them, and they all said they had been exposed to physical, psychological and sexual torture.

Lubinets said that all the Ukrainian defenders were brought home through prisoner swaps. Tens of thousands of Ukrainian servicemen are still being held in Russian torture chambers.

The human rights commissioner said the number of Ukrainian soldiers in Russian captivity was not publicly disclosed, but that official figures indicate that tens of thousands of Ukrainian citizens, both civilians and military, are being held in Russian captivity.
