Office of President of Ukraine reveals number of advisers its head has, omitting salaries

The Office of the President of Ukraine has answered a question about how many advisers Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office, has, but kept silent about their salaries. Therefore, it has been stated that Yermak has nine advisers, four of whom are full-time and five are freelance.

Quote from the response: “Currently, the Office of the President… has nine advisers to the Head of the Office, including four full-time advisers… and five freelance advisers.”
Details: Yermak’s full-time advisers are:
- Oleksandr Bevz,
- Liliia Pashynna,
- Viktoriia Romanova,
- Tetiana Haiduchenko.
Dariia Zarivna, Mykhailo Podoliak, Elina Elianova, Oleksandr Rodnianskyi and Serhii Leshchenko are Yermak’s freelance advisers.
The Office of the President refused to answer questions about the advisers’ salaries.
“The remuneration conditions for full-time advisers are determined by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1112 of 24 December 2019 On Remuneration Conditions for Employees of State Bodies Which Are Not Covered by the Law of Ukraine On Civil Service”, they said.
As for freelance advisers, the Office of the President stressed that they do not receive a salary.
Ukrainska Pravda also asked the Office to specify which issues each adviser is responsible for and the number of Yermak’s advisers in 2023. The Office did not answer these questions, stating that it did not have the requested information.
Background: For more than a month, Ukrainska Pravda waited for a response to a request on the total number of advisers to Yermak. The first request was sent on 17 October.
