Zelenskyy appoints new head of Counterintelligence Department of Security Service of Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Andrii Tupikov as Head of Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service.

Quote: “Appoint Andrii Anatoliiovych Tupikov as Head of Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.”
Details: Previously, this position was held by Oleksandr Poklad, who was transferred to the position of Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine in August 2023.
For reference: Tupikov is a major in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who in 2015 was awarded the Order of Danylo Halytskyi for personal courage and heroism demonstrated in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath during combat operations and while performing official duties.
