Russia attacks Ukraine with more than 100 drones overnight

Russia launched 110 loitering munitions to attack Ukraine on the night of 12-13 January. Ukrainian air defence units have destroyed 78 of them, while 31 have failed to reach their targets and disappeared from radar. The fall of UAV wreckage has caused damage in some areas.

Details: Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 110 Shahed-type loitering munitions and decoy drones of various types from the territory of the Russian cities of Millerovo, Oryol, Bryansk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk on the night of 12-13 January (starting at 19:00 on 12 January).
As of 09:00, 78 Shaheds and other types of loitering munitions are confirmed to have been shot down in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Donetsk oblasts.
The fall of Russian drone wreckage caused damage to the premises of businesses, private and public facilities, houses and vehicles in Sumy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. Early reports indicate no casualties.
A further 31 Russian decoy drones disappeared from radar (causing no adverse effects).
