Ukrainska Pravda raises over US$1.4 million for Ukraine’s Armed Forces in 2024

Journalists at Ukrainska Pravda collectively raised US$1,445,012 in donations for Ukraine’s Armed Forces throughout 2024.
Details: The majority of the funds came from donations by Ukrainska Pravda readers and viewers. Contributions from large businesses amounted to US$149,431, while top managers from CEO Club contributed US$11,163. The Ukrainska Pravda editorial team directly donated US$15,481 from ticket sales for its own events. An auction marking the outlet’s anniversary raised an additional US$52,953.
The funds were used to purchase mortars for the 48th Rifle Battalion and electronic warfare systems for the 3rd Rifle Battalion and the 102nd Territorial Defence Brigade.
Donations raised at the UP 100. Leadership in Wartime award ceremony were allocated by the Georgiy Gongadze Prize representatives to purchase service SUVs for press officers of six brigades.
Since March 2024, Ukrainska Pravda’s homepage has provided 662,376,829 free banner placements, which were used to bring awareness to the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for targeted fundraising campaigns by the Come Back Alive Foundation.
