Donald Trump has taken the oath of office during a ceremony at the Capitol and became the 47th president of the United States.

Details: Trump’s inauguration ceremony took place in the Capitol Rotunda because of the cold weather in Washington.
Trump repeated the text of the oath of office, which is contained in the US Constitution, after Chief Justice John Roberts.
Prior to that, J.D. Vance took the oath of office, becoming vice president of the United States.
Donald Trump has become the second American president in history to serve two nonconsecutive terms in office. In addition, by the end of his second term, he will be 82 years old, making him the oldest US president in history.
