Lyle Lin signs first MLB contract, withdraws from WBC qualifiers
Taipei, Feb. 11 (CNA) Taiwanese baseball catcher Lyle Lin (林家正) announced Tuesday that he has signed his first Major League Baseball (MLB) contract with the Oakland Athletics and received an invitation to spring training, which has led to his withdrawal from Taiwan’s World Baseball Classic (WBC) qualifiers roster.
