Streets related to Soviet past renamed in Kharkiv

Kharkiv City Council has changed the names of streets related to the Soviet past to new names that honour fallen Ukrainian defenders. The city will have streets named after fallen heroes Heorhii Tarasenko, Dmytro Kotsiubailo, Oleh Hromadskyi and Vladyslav Chernykh, and Gorky Park is to be renamed the Central Park of Culture and Recreation.
