All except military and humanitarian cargo blocked on Polish-Ukrainian border

Military and humanitarian supplies are the only kinds of cargo allowed to pass through blocked checkpoints on the Polish border, This was a condition written in the permit for the continued strike of Polish hauliers.

Quote: “All cargoes, except for military and humanitarian supplies, are blocked. However, while military aid is allowed through, there is another problem: empty trucks returning after transporting humanitarian and military cargo are not allowed to pass.
They [protesters – ed.] also do not allow dangerous cargoes to pass through, such as fuel and petrol tank trucks. These hauliers were granted permission to go on with their strike under these conditions. But we see a lot of cases when humanitarian cargo is not allowed through, dangerous cargo is not allowed through at all, they are in the general queue.”
Details: According to Derkach, an average of one car per hour crosses the border.
So far, 20 drivers have filled out an evacuation form. They will be taken by buses to Ukraine and then returned to their vehicles.
Derkach also said that among the hauliers blocking Ukrainian trucks are those who want to enter the Ukrainian market after being banned from operating in Russia and Belarus.
Quote: “As they said at one of the meetings, they are carriers who live close to the border and have been working for the markets of Belarus and Russia all along.”
